Elizabeth
Elizabeth began her aerial journey in 2011 at the Detroit Academy of Kinesthetic Arts (DAKA). By 2014, she transitioned into teaching aerial arts, expanding her expertise to include aerial yoga across lower Michigan in 2015. Elizabeth's dedication to her craft has led her to train with some of the top instructors nationwide, continuously refining her skills.
Her passion for performing has seen her headline major events, including the Detroit Pistons halftime show, Theatre Bizarre, The Fillmore, and the Michigan Science Center, among others. While Elizabeth is proficient in all aerial apparatuses, her favorite to teach is silks and hammock, with duo lyra being her preferred performance apparatus.
In addition to her aerial pursuits, Elizabeth is a mother of six and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a certificate in Secondary Education. Her love for motherhood and education seamlessly integrates into her work as an aerial instructor, making her a renowned children's aerial teacher. She led the children's aerial program at a Michigan studio for six years before joining Aerial Dragonfly in 2020. In 2015, Elizabeth traveled to Chicago with her advanced aerial students to perform at the American Youth Circus Organization (AYCO). Many of her students, both adults and teens, have gone on to become aerial instructors themselves, a testament to her impact as a mentor and educator.
